Authentication Service
Authentication service functionality are provided by better-auth authentication framework via ExpressJS application as a standalone service.

Currently our better-auth authentication service implement these configuration:
- Email & password authentication
- Email verification using 6 digit one-time-passcode via otp plugin
- Sharing session cookie with same domain site by enabling cross-domain cookie
- Support multi-tenant via organization plugin
- Custom organization structure mapping to CentriCare organization structure
- Organization to Organization
- Member to Member
- Team to Facility
- Team Member to Staff
Email sending
Authentication service have the capability to send email for various purposes (e.g., email verification otp, rest password link). Read more about sending email here.
